The Story of Light So Shineth Ministries Founded by Anthony Morgan, the mission of Light So Shineth Ministries is to inspire people to accept Christ, walk with Him, and grow deeper in their relationship with Him. The vision of Light So Shineth Ministries is simple: one candle lighting another. As individuals encounter Christ and his light, they are equipped to disciple others and become God’s hand extended—helping those around them discover the light of Christ for themselves. Although the ministry officially launched on an undisclosed date, God has been shaping its purpose long before it ever had a name. What was once a mystery in the making has, over time, been revealed and refined according to His perfect will.

In 2022, Anthony entered one of the most difficult seasons of his life. He grieved the loss of his grandfather, endured the pain of his best friends passing, experienced the heartbreak of friendships coming to an end, and faced what he describes as a “tailor-made Job experience.” Days that should have been filled with joy instead felt dark and heavy. The strength to simply keep moving forward seemed to fade. During this season, God appeared silent—or perhaps Anthony simply could not perceive Him. Yet through Scripture, he came to understand what Job had learned: even when God cannot be seen, He remains present and purposeful. Reflecting on Job 23:10, Anthony recognized that God was testing and refining his faith. Through this process, he also confronted a deeper truth: a life of sin had distanced him from God, but there was hope through surrender to Jesus Christ.

By submitting fully to Christ, Anthony discovered the hope and light that rescues, restores, and redirects lives from destruction. God took what seemed like a flickering candle and ignited within him the light of Christ in the midst of darkness. Anthony has since felt compelled to contagiously extend the light from his candle to help light someone else’s through music, prophetic ministry, and community engagement.
